I found the description of apartment slightly confusing so here is mine. The apartment was probably built as a 2 bedroom apartment with a living-room backing onto a terrace. The 'living-room' is now a third bedroom. The apartment has a nice bathroom and small kitchen (both shared by occupiers of the 3 rooms). The terrace is large-ish and has a street view at side. The rooms are not very big - the terrace one is biggest - about the size of a large double-bedroom in a normal house. The kitchen was nice but had no microwave or kettle, but was stocked with coffee pot, coffee, sugar, garlic, bread, butter, milk, breakfast cereal etc. The owner called round and cleaned the rooms every morning and replenished bread, butter, milk, cereal. The location is excellent for exploring Bergamo - very close to Porto Nuavo (excuse spelling) where all buses go through. Public transport is excellent so no need for a hire car (the only parking is in the street where you have to pay around 1.60 euros an hour) so I advise a 3 or 1 day tourist pass - very cheap. Summary: clean, reasonably priced, good location, but a bit cramped.
